Do you like the ending of “The phantom of the opera”? State your reasons.

Based on the novel "The phantom of the opera", written by Gaston Leroux, this is because it solves the mystery of Erik, it has a happy ending and because it is interesting.

Firstly, it solves the mystery of Erik’s past. Readers can know about his past such as how he mistreated by his mother because of his ugliness and being a builder of the Paris Opera House. They also know why he treats people badly. Because of how the society looks upon him, he mistreats them.

Secondly, it has a happy ending. The Persian is released because of Christine’s compassion and the sudden change of Erik’s heart. Besides that, Erik gets the kiss of his lifetime from Christine. Moreover, Christine gets to be with her true lover, Raoul because of Erik’s kindness.

Thridly, it is very interesting. This is because it potrays how Erik turns over a new leaf by a kiss by Christine. It also potrays Christine and Raoul get to be together at last. They deserve to be together because they love each other.

    Nicely done Alice!! One small comment I would like to make is about your introductory paragraph. You need to state whether you like of dislike the ending of the novel. You might be penalized for not stating your preference of how the novel ends. Over all, it is a very thorough response. Two thumbs up!!!!!!
